Solved gzdoom settings not saved

Hi! Everytime I try to set custom settings in games/gzdoom such as custom hotkeys, graphics or audio, it works for the current session but it is reset to defaults on the next launch. My settings do not seem to be saved anywhere.

I got my wads from Steam if that's of any help, and it doesn't make any difference whether I'm playing DOOM, DOOM II or HeXen. Has anyone experienced the same issue?
