GNOME hangs when trying to access internal NTFS partition

Hey guys, I'm currently on FreeBSD 9.0-RELEASE with GNOME-2.32 and I'm having trouble accessing my NTFS (Windows) partition.

Each time I try to access it through GNOME it hangs and I'm forced to restart gdm. I tried having a look at /var/log/messages but there's nothing there. Can anybody give me a clue on what to do? Thanks.
 
Forget it. After a while it unfreezes. (it only froze if I accessed it after I logged on)
