Thats mad. I recently bought 25x 2200uf capacitors to fix some old parts that suffered from the great capacitor plague.

I was thinking to myself how expensive they were since a year ago and thought it was weird that stocks were so low from my typical vendors.

Another quirk I am seeing is FPGA companies stocks increasing rapidly (not AMD (Xilinx) or Intel (Altera), since the size of them mutes the change).

It can't be bitcoin, because they moved to ASIC quite quick. And FPGA use in AI is low, Tensor cores are quite a different tech. So I am not sure for the increase. Perhaps to keep old industrial control equipment working?

Someone must have put a big FPGA order in... Wow, wish I'd bought Lattice stock a year ago. Yes, curious!
I wonder if all these price rises are related to shortages of ye olde rare earth minerals... maybe that's another factor, somewhere in the mix.
