So I have gnome installed on a freebsd vm. Unfortunately how do I stop it? I can't just go to another virtual desktop because if I press ctrl + alt + f1, it changes the server's desktop...
I tried just writing gdm stop in the terminal, and well it doesn't do anything. I even tried killing X, and well it restarted.
This is probably really simple, any help?
