Has anyone had any experience with FreeBSD on the Intel X5-Z8350?
I have 8 dell Wyse thin clients that use this chip. I would like to raid 0 with USB3.0 32GB drives with these systems and the 4GB Nand soldered to the system boards.
Currently they are loaded with a system that's using a logical volume on BTRFS.
More specifically I am looking at OpenGL performance on the system and if anyone can advise on performance.
They are intended for a gaming LAN that uses the quake engine.
I have tested the games, on a Celeron N5095, World of Padman (wine) and Urban Terror using a guide published by Vermaden and both perform very nicely.
I will surely do my own testing on the X5-Z8350 machines and post at later date but until then I was hoping that others may advise on their experience with the chip.
Bellow is a link to the guide for native Urban Terror on FreeBSD.
