Trihexagonal , in the United States, they do have a legal precedent for vaccination mandates, you can read about it on npr.org. Basically, walking around unvaccinated is akin to walking around with a loaded gun with the safety off - a danger to yourself and others. Given the numbers, and the fact that they're rising, a vaccination mandate is at this point a desperation measure to keep EVERYONE safe, not just you, but everyone around. One of the few things, IMHO, that Uncle Sam is doing right with a federal mandate.

Lawdy, are we arguing over this again? They are making progress--some of those not getting vaccinated are getting fired and losing their right to collect unemployment. Many, when they find that actions have consequences, once they get over their shock, are getting vaccinated.

I think the country is starting to get sick of the anti vaxxers and anti maskers who are causing this pandemic to linger on and on and on.

Some people take pride in 'rebelling against the establishment', but on the flip side, there's usually lack of discipline, education, logic, self-awareness and level-headed critical thinking in such camps. As a result, things like 'cause for the rebellion' fall apart, and bite the campers right back.😩

Timing is everything in comedy and the punch line is never in on the joke, it is the joke.

Not everyone gets it, but they'll act like it.
