Solved FreeBSD bsdinstall Post-Install Shell

Does anyone know if it is possible to install pkg and some packages from the FreeBSD installer "Post Install' shell?
The installation is going into a chroot correct? How is this size limited? Could you install Xorg and components from this shell?

Well I'll be... pkg install xorg works from the "Manual Install" section at the end of a FreeBSD install.
What I was calling Post-Install shell.
That is a neat trick.
See, new users make you think outside the box sometimes.
I did not realize that the installer already has the medium mounted.
So the disk size is the limit for the packages you could install at this "Manual Install" phase.
Maybe you could even fetch/run a post install script.

if you check bsdinstall() there is a section on scripting... doesn't say all that much but definitely worth investigating.

I couldn't find many examples apart from this.

From that site I like this. For writing custom images I need to add something like that to my script..
