pls see : https://forums.freebsd.org/threads/...ake-config-the-screen-fonts-are-broken.92708/
picture at top is EXACTLY what i am getting.
Simply put I am an ISP
I am trying my first upgrade / setup to FreeBSD 14.1 release
all is average for changes etc however when i ssh from FreeBSD 11/12/13 into the new 14.1 system making a port show mucked up display characters making it impossible to build the ports as i can no longer see the options
this seems to be a utf-8 issue ??
however my main system (freebsd 12) can login ok and make ports on Freebsd13-1 no screen issues (login on 13.1 system does seem to have utf enabled)
i did the make update from the post above with no difference found
console works fine but useless once i put this in the cage ?
ALL systems are running ssh client from freebsd installs (nothing fancy), bash from ports?
basically a very generic install ?
pls advise where in freebsd14.1 i can configure/fix this issue.
