Frame.Work 16 (Framework 16) - FreeBSD scratch spot

Well, I'm trying to figure how to get smooth scrolling in X11. I see some talk, but most is about 10yrs+ old.

Anyone else come across a good method on this laptop or similar to smooth scroll in X11? The jumpyness is getting me sick over short periods of time with having only one eye.

Without any modifications on my end it does appear to see it:

hw.psm.synaptics_support shows 1 in the sysctl -a.

They mention adding settings to Xorg.conf in /etc/X11, but nothing exists there just an empty directory. I also found /usr/local/X11/xorg.conf.d/ which has nothing in it either.

Thanks for any feedback! I was reading here: https://wiki.freebsd.org/SynapticsTouchpad

Sometimes installing a lightweight window manager like x11/icewm helps. I'm not a fan of Xorg/TWM default settings, but I'm also too lazy to mess with them.
