IPFW Forwarding traffic on a port to a jail

My configuration is this:

Host:

• LAN IP of 192.168.0.2 and a public, changing IPv6
• Internal IP of 10.0.0.1/24 and fd00::1/64

Jail:

• IP 10.0.0.10/24 and fd00::10/64
• It's a mail server, so needs ports 25,143,465,993

Now I want to forward traffic getting to the host on the mailserver ports to the jail, both IPv4 and IPv6. How? There seems to be half a dozen ways to do it with ipfw, and I got none of them to work.

May I advise that you try pf?

You will prefer it to any other. And I can assist you further with your problem if you get the basics of PF right.

There seems to be half a dozen ways to do it with ipfw, and I got none of them to work.

Just post what you have or tried, I'm sure somebody that uses IPFW will be able to find what you did wrong.
