{{{ }}} for code blocks

Use either a wiki syntax, or BBCode, but mixing them is a bad idea IMHO.

In addition, it's not something that can be added very easily to vBulletin.

One of the biggest downsides of wiki(-like) syntax is that there are so many of them. Even though I prefer the concept, I can never remember which tags to use on which wiki/site.

Well. I am ok to switch settings from BBCode to wiki syntax used by Trac, Google Code and MoinMoin. Where can I do this?

I see. vBulletin is not open source. That's the problem.

Yes, it *is* open source. I have a vBulletin license and have the *full* source code available with permission to modify it.

But no, it is not *free*. Remember, the free in Free software is as in free speech, not as in free beer.

Wikipedia says vBulletin is available under proprietary, commercial license -http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VBulletin If you have a separate personal permission - that doesn't count as Open Source license, because I don't think it was approved by OSI.

Look at Open Source definition p.1 http://opensource.org/docs/osd - does your license permit selling vBulletin without any fees?
