Other firewall builder initial configuration

Hi everybody, i have a doubt. at the beginning when I see the option to create a new firewall if i select "iptables" as the firewall software. Should I configure it previously in the command prompt? please need help I do not know which option I will choose in each of the labels. Thank you.

I have no clue about that windows looking software. You are probably better off asking your question on a forum for that software..

Having said that, Chapter 30. Firewalls discusses the 3 firewalls available for FreeBSD. The iptables here is not the Linux iptables though. Most people use IPFW or PF, I think IPF hasn't been touched in years.

FreeBSD also comes with some pre-baked configurations. Look for firewall_type in rc.conf(5)
