Ok, glad I don't have to panic and do an fsck. Do you think I'd be ok disabling the script, so I don't get e-mail alerts every 30 minutes?
Definitely. Sorry, kind of assumed that you'd do that ;)

Also, what database needs to be updated? And how would I go about doing that?
The database file is /root/.mtree<something>. I can't comment on how to update this because that heavily depends on how it was set up and I can't say (these things are customized).

But disabling it is definitely a good idea.
