Evolution -- temp file location for Unsent Mail?

I use Evolution for my email (2.26.2 on a rather old 7-STABLE system). I had an email message on which I was working, and it was not saved as a draft nor sent. Usually I would be prompted to recover it if Evolution crashed, which it does from time to time.

In the last crash, the message seems to have been lost. I find no place in the .evolution directory tree where it might be stored. I'd bet it is still on the system as a temporary file, but I have no idea where it might be stored.

Do anyone have a suggestion on where I might look? Thanks!
 
Other than your home directory, I'd say /tmp or /var/tmp. There's usually no other place a regular user can write to.
