drm and amdgpu hangs on renoir

Even restarting X doesn't help. I have to reboot to get the device working normally for a few days hours.

The device is practically unusable. Would I have less problems with an Intel CPU/GPU?

I'd aim for an NVIDIA GPU that's supported by x11/nvidia-driver.
