Solved Driver for BCM43142?

Hello, I did install FreeBSD 10.3 on my laptop, the wifi adapter is a BCM43142 (Broadcom) and I can't find the correct driver for the wifi card, how can I use my wifi?

Thanks

From what I read on the freebsd-wireless mailing list some time ago, Adrian is working on BCM4321 and BCM4322. BCM43142 support might come in the future, but it's definitely not there yet.

If you really want to use FreeBSD, usually you can swap the wireless cards on laptops too. :D
IIRC the driver for your card is not on Linux kernel either, you will need the Broadcom blob.

Thanks for answers. I will use Linux, the wifi is important on my laptop.

A good alternative would be to use a TP-Link USB wireless 'dongle 'with a Realtek adapter. Those are supported and work well under FreeBSD.

Yes, but I don't want to buy other hardware for my laptop, I can wait the support for my card.

Thanks anyway.
