Did Netflix on Chrome stop working for you as well?

Hi all,

I built Chrome with DRM support as recommended by the forum post linked below and until recently I was able to watch Netflix, YouTube, Amazon video, Disney+ and YouTube TV on it. However, a recent FreeBSD update on drm-kmod package broke Netflix playback but not others. Using the linux browser installer script, I can still watch Netflix on FreeBSD but I wanted to check if anyone else experienced it and if so perhaps found the root cause and solution. Thank you for your time.

Forum thread on how to compile chrome with DRM support on FreeBSD

A little update on this issue:
YouTube TV is not working anymore as well with the same error message, browser not being up-to-date. The rest is still working for now.
I thought recompiling may be needed to integrate the updated packages to chromium configuration, admitting that this is just my guess without any expertise claimed, therefore is likely an incorrect assumption. However, I was warned by the compiler if I continue and compile chromium, it will be downgraded from 131 to 122, and therefore I didn't continue. I then ran
portmaster -a
to update the ports, but the warning did not change afterward. Is the chromium in ports truly that outdated?
Perhaps I should compile and downgrade to 122 with the updated drm-kmod package integrated in the compilation, and then upgrade to the latest chromium version via pkg. It is just a very long process to go through, especially if my assumption isn't correct.
Any pointers will be greatly appreciated.
I am following this process, which I did before and worked for me with some troubleshooting during compiling.
