Solved Custom keyboard layout

I'm trying to use a custom layout on my 10.3 uefi system.
I've downloaded it at: http://wiki.neo-layout.org/browser/unix/freebsd/neo.kbd?format=raw
Then copied it ( cp neo.kbd /usr/share/syscons/keymaps/) and modified /etc/rc.conf to keymap="neo".
The problem is, when I restart the machine, the layout is the old one, not my Neo2 layout.

Any ideas?

Does it need the extension?

I'm no expert on this, but isn't vt(4) the default for UEFI booting? If so, perhaps you need to move your file to /usr/share/vt/keymaps/neo.kbd? You can use sysctl kern.vty to check which console driver is in use.
