So i just set up Comfyui using Podman (which i just did a post about)
Go to download a Stable Diffusion model from CivitAI with this url
civitai.com
which then redirects to
civitai.com
It turns out CivitAI is now blocked in the UK
due to the Online Safety Act i guess the models could be used to generate "Adult content"
You couldnt make this up
Rather than getting parents to be responsible and use filters on their home networks
Or perhaps not give their kids phones with internet access
and if they do lock them down so they cant see inappropriate content
The whole country has large chunks of the internet blocked
The Tories (Conservative Party) put forward the legislation
which was then on the books and passed by Labour which is what normally happens when legislation is passed
Complete joke
So i will have to use a vpn to download models for Comfyui from CivitAI
Or see if i can find them on huggingface
