Can't install 14.1 - immediate reboot as soon as the kernel is loaded

Hi everyone, this is my first try to install FreeBSD on my laptop, a very standard TigerLake I7 with 32GB of RAM, 128GB M2 drive, Intel GPU. Unfortunately the installer crashes almost immediately after loading the kernel and the system reboots.

It's so fast that I cannot even read anything on the screen, even with verbose mode activated. disabling ACPI during the installation has no effect.

This happens with either the "Disk1" iso or the "DVD" iso so I believe I can exclude a bad download.

Hope anyone can help. Thanks in advance.

Alright, amd64 should be good. Did you turn off secure boot?

...and everything worked perfectly, I'm now writing this post on my "new" FreeBSD laptop. Literally almost everything works, so far only the multimedia keys don't respond and the bluetooth needs some work, really low priority stuff.

Dual monitor, internal card reader, wireless, touchpad, even Brave works and synced my stuff in no time. Call me impressed.

At 55 years old and after more than thirty years of Unix (and about 25 of Linux) it's nice to find something new to learn. Thanks guys.
