I don't agree. A rude behavior for sure is not about asking something. Come on. Don't exaggerate. I have also specified "the last 10 messages" because I have assumed that inviting him to read even further back was excessive. I consider myself polite.

this is YOUR interpretation. Why your interpretation should be more valid than mine ? Interpretations aren't automatically correct. The vocabulary has been made to try to make the interpretations objective. And the vocabulary defines some elements missing in my sentence that are fundamental to be sure that there is some kind of rudeness : the presence of vulgar words and insults. You can't even interpret correctly what's the emotional tone used in a phrase,since we are using a textual communication. Sense is that its a good idea to read at least the last 10 comments before to reply,otherwise wrong and repetitive answers may be given.

On one hand: logically, it might have been better to begin a separate topic for 'Widevine with Firefox for Linux in Linuxulator' (or words to that effect). Your post 53 might have been a good starting point.

On the other hand: unfortunately, some people simply enjoy criticising other people's styles of writing. Logic is unlikely to reduce their intolerance.

Everyone is careless, sometimes. eternal_noob, a hint: where you recently took something off-topic, there's a need for follow up, but I'm not following up :)

I sometimes take things away to profile posts (with linked quotes) to help keep things on topic in the main areas, and so on.


Where a person begins a topic: I usually understand when that person's thoughts wander. There's often enjoyment from getting into another person's mindset (or 'mental order'). I nearly always understand where ziomario is 'coming from' … maybe it's the dyslexia.

(This is not to understand what's wrong, neither does it aim to fix whatever is wrong, but it's a possible workaround.)

I'm quite certain that doing so will not allow installation of Widevine for Firefox.



The differences between Chromium-based browsers and Mozilla Firefox are immense.



A nice idea, however in a case such as this it is (with respect) not useful to follow that train of thought.

I tried to swap the 2 Firefox profiles,the first one comes from a real Linux installation and the second one comes from the real installation of FreeBSD and if I have understood correctly,it is used by the Ubuntu installation which runs with the linuxulator. It didn't work. It seems to me that Widevine takes care only of its API calls,so I presume that there is nothing that we can do.
