general/other Can an OS under debootstrap be used to establish wifi?

Just wondering. Say, if a linux wpa_supplicant can use/install a linux driver and pass the connection to the host to use as internet. [ or, someone has done the equivalent some other way... ]

You can't install a Linux driver, that won't work.

That will work. But not using a jail and/or the Linux compatibility layer.
