Solved Anyone using Kodi?

I just tried installing Kodi and got:-

[4/7] Installing samba47-4.7.12...
pkg: samba47-4.7.12 conflicts with ldb-1.1.29_2 (installs files into the same place). Problematic file: /usr/local/bin/ldbadd

How to get around this?
 
I had issues with kodi-17.6 on kde4/5 and cantata due to vlc2/3(or qt4/5) issues and giving similar messages like "installing file in the same place". Also dolphin and kodi-17.6 give issues (avahi and mdnsresponder conflicts).

Kodi-devel goes fine with kde5, although some addons complaining

Have you tried v13. kodi?
It seems that that is an issue with samba. This is strange, because Kodi works here.

Take care there are many hackers using KODI to harm your machine(s) .... !

Stick to the official plugins and you'll be fine. Most of these problems are with plugins from dubious sources that provide illegal streams. And all those "free movie" boxes you can buy on eBay. Those give Kodi a really bad reputation.
