Closed An unexpected error prevented access to this file

Hey guys, hoping someone can help me out here.

Here is an issue i'm having:

Open an .OST file with the help of Microsoft Outlook and i'm getting the error message: An unexpected error prevented access to this file.

So how to open or repair .OST file?

I am running Windows 8.1

Any help would be appreciated
