I'm guessing it's an imaginary technology, the invention of which would be necessary to put this "simple" idea into practice.

That said and also that x86 CPU is nearly dead, IMO, it is not a reason to not try to make FreeBSD a efficient multi-arch system, keeping the still x86 CPU users alive.
