FYI, I opened PR 287046 to track a "non starting anymore" issue that happens on x11/sfwbar. It's not strictly a port issue because upstream has the same problem and the dev says

This would affect beta16 as well, but current git isn't in a shape for release currently.

Temporary solution is to lock x11-toolkits/gtk-layer-shell to not update to 0.9.2 .

Thank you. Got it. Let them cut it. I only use swaybar. To show date/clock and system tray for minimizing Telegram. I don't even need "indicator-switch" of three languages. An example of how I started to move away from my "bad" habits. It's brutal, but it's easier to live this way. Occam's razor paradox in action.
