Yes, the main branch moved to 16.0-CURRENT. That's what happens when the previous -CURRENT is getting ready to become the new major version release, stable/15 was branched off on 5 September.

I was waiting for 15-STABLE. did not expect it. Thankx.
 
And to further clarify, releng/15.0 (which is 15.0-RELEASE) will be branched off from stable/15, release versions are always branched off from the stable branches.
