15 years ago, began ...

... my time with FreeBSD 3.0 and since I am still an avid fan of this great operating system. I love FreeBSD!

Thanks for the great work to all members of the team!

I think that's enough feedback:)

I wonder if my FreeBSD 2.0 or 2.1 CD (from WalnutCreek?) is lurking in some forgotten box somewhere. It was the only release(s) that I had obtained that way. I hadn't realized just how long ago that was, or that I had become old.

Though I ran into a freshman the other day, that I had thought I knew from somewhere. It turns out the last time I saw her was when she was a few days old, which would be around the same time as I was setting up my first FreeBSD 2.0 server. Plus, what are the odds of this, since I had done three major moves, switched countries, switched jobs/careers twice to end up at the right university some 1,300 miles away...

Though some days I wonder where I'd be if I hadn't spent all my early days behind a Unix terminal...

The Dreamer.
