14.0 .img file for raspi 3B+ and doc for raw, vhd, qcow2

hi all,
looks like i can not find documention how and what for to use
the downloadable FreeBSD-14.0-RELEASE-arm64-aarch64.qcow2/ raw/ vhd/ vmdk files.

reason is, that raspi 3B+ does not boot the .raw file after DD it to sdacrd
and there is no .img on
"download.freebsd.org/releases/VM-IMAGES/14.0-RELEASE/aarch64/Latest/"

cann not find .img file for raspi on "download.freebsd.org/releases/VM-IMAGES/14.0-RELEASE/aarch64/Latest/"
and tried the .raw, which did not boot, and at least could not find doc abpout those file types.

Hi,

Go to https://www.freebsd.org/where/

You can see, FreeBSD 14.0-RELEASE links for aarch64 as,

Index of /releases/arm64/aarch64/ISO-IMAGES/14.0/

you can select FreeBSD-14.0-RELEASE-arm64-aarch64-RPI.img.xz

xz -d FreeBSD-14.0-RELEASE-arm64-aarch64-RPI.img.xz

then use dd to write into like SD card.

You are trying to use VM Images on Pi. That won't work.

Use this:

https://download.freebsd.org/releases/arm64/aarch64/ISO-IMAGES/14.0/FreeBSD-14.0-RELEASE-arm64-aarch64-RPI.img.xz
