13.2 -> 15.0

but as I remember you need to first upgrade from 13.2 to the latest release of 13.x which I think is 13.5.
Due to this bug:

After that, I can't remember if you can go straight to 15.0 or if you need to upgade to 14.3 first, but without going to 13.5 you will be stuck.
You should be able to jump from 13.5 to 15.0 in one go. But again, just make sure you have the latest patch release of 13.5, due to this bug:

If you combine these two bugs it'll explain why you can't go from 13.2 to 15.0 in one go. Just a couple of annoying bugs, normally it's not a problem to upgrade from any version to any other, that includes skipping one or more major and/or minor versions.

Damn, upgrade from 13.5 to 14.3 stopping here for long time.

Code:
# freebsd-update -r 14.3-RELEASE upgrade
...
# freebsd-update install
# shutdown -r now
# freebsd-update install
Creating snapshot of existing boot environment... done.
Installing updates...install: ///usr/lib/debug/usr/tests/sys/vm/stack: No such file or directory
