Thanks SirDice. I figured that's what I needed to do but I swear when I wrote this yesterday there was no py39-salt, only py38. I just checked again and there it is.
One of the pre-requisites for salt-api to work is installing cherrypy. Currently salt is using python38 while the latest cherrypy package uses python39. I have both installed however when I run salt-api with debug logging I see the following error
[ERROR ] Not loading...
I just upgraded from 12.2-RELEASE to 13.0-RELEASE and my only zpool pool will not import on boot. I can import it manually after booting but it does not persist.
I am not using zfs on root and no encryption. Pretty simple setup.
Any suggestions?
It's highly likely I'm misunderstanding but wouldn't having br-test.10 and br-test.101 connected to the same bridge, bridge those VLANs? Surely that's not what you are trying to do.

It's possible to add a sparse file to a mirror and then immediately offline that "disk" and start copying files to the mirror in a degraded state. But I'm not sure how that would work with bsdinstall.
This article explains how to configure it in a jail but it should be useful to you. https://genneko.github.io/playing-with-bsd/networking/freebsd-wireguard-jail/
I had a brief power outage on the weekend (no UPS) and after I booted back up I was getting thrown into the recovery shell. I was seeing errors in dmesg about the zfs pool not being available when trying to mount a couple of nullfs entries in fstab. Sure enough, the pool is not mounted while in...
I do not have moused specifically configured but it does seem to be loaded at boot which I assume is normal. For some reason when moused is running I cannot double click anything. If I kill the moused process then everything works as normal.
How can I either stop moused from loading at boot or...
