One of the reasons I shun linux forums is that they are often more outlets for social experimentation, where "community" trumps technical excellence. I am hopeful that we can limit the pop-culture content (even here in off-topic) and put all out efforts into technical excellence.

To kent_dorfman766 I say (if he can read me) that I concur and that for me is more satisfying to help in the technical sections of the forum than to post off-topic stuff, but many times there's nothing to contribute because FreeBSD is so frigging stable!!! (and because one knows what one knows).

JohnK I love them. I think they had 4 albums and each is different. I found them when they went inactive and disbanded.

This band was well known but it didn't generate any traction live. The project leader disbanded it and went on. If a band doesn't sell tickets it cannot exist...
