I opened this thread so metalheads could share music and pictures and good stuff.
I didn't open it so the eternal discussion about what is and what isn't metal could be reenacted, but little obsessive people and their little obsessions seem to like to crap on everyone's happiness. Some people just seem to hate positivity. They just like to scribble their little opinions everywhere to feel important.
Well, it's what it is.
Some metalheads have demonstrated in less than a page that they are as pitiful as any other kind of human.
If any admin is around and wants to hear my plea, please erase this thread from existence. It doesn't deserve to exist anymore, because it's only going to be this nonsensical discussion about purity from now own.
If you go back to the 70s they were best described as a Disco-Rock band (listen to I was Made for Lovin' You again). Even some of their best Rock tracks are just Hard Rock at best (although I Love it Loud is a thumpin' tune at the AC/DC level). By the way, try to find videos of the TV show that they had circa late-seventies/early 80s. Definitely not Metal Heads. Besides, most 80s rock bands had two major influences: Sweet and Slade. As 70s bands go, KISS followed the trends and continued doing so into the 80s. 70s Metal Heads are mostly Sabbath/Ozzy, Judas Priest and Maiden. Some may add Led Zeppelin to the mix but i do not and i dislike Zeppelin anyway. As a fan of The Oz, i generally dislike Dio.
