That's interesting, but then again I'm not sure what other apps might go under that beside OpenHMD and ALVR

But if there was a VR category, what about something like FlightGear?
It's under games, but the general impression of games would better-categorize it in-general as a "simulator". It can also do VR

Something like
Supertuxkart is more of a game vs racing simulator (while something like Project CARS is more-simulator vs game), but both Supertuxkart and FlightGear can be played as games. More specific categories seems like it could be confusing or lead to miscategorization, and AI assistance tools seem to rely on a core app that can be categorized.
SteamVR could fit under a specific VR category (SteamVR itself isn't a game), but afaik it can't be obtained/used without Steam (
that's under games). Steam is well-known for gaming, but itself isn't a game
It seems like claude-code itself isn't AI, but uses AI to assist with something else. Something like
ollama seems specific to acquiring AI without a specific purpose (you tie another project to ollama?); it seems more-ideal for an AI-specific category, but what other apps would fit that category specifically without also potentially being under another category? (ollama is the only major AI thing I'm aware of on FreshPorts and probably doesn't need a category for itself

)
