change firefox theme? (system theme)

Hi, at this point I'am lost...
I'use a custom gtk3 theme, and is works fine with for example, thunar
but firefox use another default theme, dark one, and the greyed out "dead icons"
any workaround?
thanks

Change firefox theme. There are three default themes in firefox: Light, Dark and System (light if GTK light theme, dark if GTK dark theme). Set System theme (it should be set by default) if does not work set the dark one. There is also an Firefox Alpenglow, never changed theme in FF.

thanks, yes, I change the firefox theme allways, but I'am talking about the "base" theme, I mean, the menus, etc

I've never been interested in theming (GTK or QT), but I think there should be a setting that determines whether applications use a dark or light theme. The GTK theme you're using probably doesn't fully comply with these settings. I personally use a couple of themes from xfce-look.org and haven't found any flaws. Let's just say the themes I've tried are among the most recent and popular (GTK3/4).
