Intel Xeon E-2400 vs AMD EPYC 4004

After adding a dedicated Intel Arc A380 GPU everything works fine now, BMC VGA is still on and I can see the full POST messages unlike with the Raphael iGPU. Booting fine now to the blue FreeBSD 14.3 GUI installer.

On the attached photo you can also see the situation with the PCIe 4.0 x4 slot, only thing that fits would be a super short NIC or similar.

You mean the x1, the one above the GPU, right? I also found that it can't be used for PCI passthru.

EDIT: my bad, yes, it's actually x4, I was confusing it with another board.

It's physical and electrical x4, it's just obstructed by the fan because of the angle. What do you mean with "PCI passthru"? A passthrough to a VM or a physical PCIe to PCI adapter? And how do you know if you don't own the mainboard respectively who said that it doesn't work? :)
 
Passthrough to VM, and I own this motherboard, and several others with x1 PCIe slot in that location. I tried to use TP-Link's Realtek 2.5g NIC (it's really small) in that slot, it worked, but was unavailable for passthrough to VM.
