Solved New "Featured Content" on sidebar.

"Featured Content" on "Top of Sidebar" is out of balance.

"Latest Posts" should be up top

Then "Featured Content"

Then "Trending"

That is my opinion.

Also "Featured Content" should be the links the admins post. Like Ann's Posts and Foundation stuff.

That whole "Featured content" was something new that came with the recent Xenforo update. Admins/moderators can 'feature' a thread and it'll show up in the list. It was, until now, empty. Figured I'd feature a recent Howto created by a member.

Don't think there's much control over the order of the side bar.

Found the macro. I'm sure it's being called somewhere in one of the many templates that renders the front page. It should be a simple case of swapping two macros to change the order.

I didn't quite know what to put up there to be honest. Not sure how big the list can be or become, but my intention was to keep it relatively small. Just a small selection of interesting threads, howtos, news or anything else that comes up. Then rotate it on a weekly basis.
