UFS Should enable soft updates journaling?

Default is to enable soft updates journaling when installing FreeBSD. But if enable it, dump -L won't be able to create snapshots.

What make you conclude that the inability to create snapshots was caused by soft update journaling?

Answer: the error message you get when trying ;) I forgot all about that. If I recall correctly this is one of the reasons I started relying on gjournal(8) as well. Well, the most direct reason was because it has always been more reliable for me than soft update journaling.
