Touchpad gestures with Touchegg

I always used it on linux, but can't make it work on FreeBSD 14 on this MSI Modern laptop.

I installed the pkg, then tried to start the service, but i get this message:

start does not exist in /etc/rc.d or the local startup
directories (/usr/local/etc/rc.d), or is not executable

Is the pkg, or my small understanding about services?

It seems to work as a background application, not a service.
Launch it in your xinitrc or desktop session manager.

Added it on my .xinitrc. But still:

Configuration parsed successfully
Connecting to Touchégg daemon...
Error connecting to Touchégg daemon: Could not connect: No such file or directory
Reconnecting in 5 seconds...

I think the program want a service, not a background application.
