In addition, still in the eject button section, we have a reference to uhid0 and I also don' t get it since in my macbook it seems to be related to infrared control as I have the following output from dmesg | grep uhid0:
# dmesg | grep uhid0
uhid0 on uhub5
uhid0: <Apple Computer, Inc. IR Receiver, class 0/0, rev 2.00/0.16, addr 3> on usbus3
