FreeBSD 14 : migrate to Bind 9.18

if 9.18 supported only by Freebsd 13?

As of Jan 2022, BIND 9.18 is fully supported and regularly tested on thefollowing systems:


  • Debian 9, 10, 11
  • Ubuntu LTS 18.04, 20.04
  • Fedora 35
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux / CentOS / Oracle Linux 7, 8
  • FreeBSD 12.3, 13.0
  • OpenBSD 7.0
  • Alpine Linux 3.15 ------- This is old information from the Bind's site:)
 
Package for bind918 is available in both quarterly and latest repositories.

pkg install bind918
