firefox - brittle?

Is it just me, or is the current (well, for "quarterly" values of current) version of firefox exceptionally brittle? For me, it crashes for nothing - click too quickly on a window, quick to many times (because gthe respones is slow sometimes) and it quits. No error messages, just quits
This is
Code:
root@kg-core2:~ # pkg info firefox\*
firefox-156.0,2
running on
Code:
root@kg-core2:~ # freebsd-version -ku
14.4-RELEASE-p9
14.4-RELEASE-p9
root@kg-core2:~ # uname -a
FreeBSD kg-core2.kg4.no 14.4-RELEASE-p9 FreeBSD 14.4-RELEASE-p9 releng/14.4-n273766-53c5c1935320 GENERIC amd64

I'm on 14.5 and on firefox 155, and zero problems. It works like clockwork. Maybe there's something with 156, but I doubt it. You can run firefox from the terminal - that should output messages, including possibly any errors. Og hvordan gar det i Norge?

JS processing is a disaster lately...
It needs a total source cleanup but that would actually open it so not going to happen.

Haven't noticed FF crashing here, on 14.5. I don't use it for much though, maybe I've been lucky. Waterfox seems pretty stable, but sometimes it goes into a tight loop and chews up 100% cpu and I have to kill the process, I think that is a longstanding bug though.

Have you tested with a blank profile (without failure) I don't have any problems with Firefox But sometimes overly pushing settings in about:config can cause unexpected effects

I am on 15.1 p2 on sway and wayland and I am having similar issues. Crashes on start and sometimes when replying to. The packages have been built with poudreire. I thought it was just my setup.
Code:
pkg info | grep evolution
evolution-3.56.2_3 Integrated mail, calendar and address book distributed suite
evolution-data-server-3.56.2_4 Centralized access to appointments and contacts
