To further explore this, I took a snapshot. Then created the file
touch /root/test.me
. And to be sure I also made a copy of the file system dir >> dir.txt
which resulted in a 17 meg file. I copied both files to /var. I then restored the snapshot and the files were still there. Shouldn't the files have been deleted by restoring the snapshot?In confusion,
