Comments in YouTube have jitter in Chromium

This has been going on for quite a while. Not every YouTube video but a lot of them. The comment area reads fine till you scroll down a bit and then those start jumping up and down like crazy.
On 15.3-RELEASE and current chromium but I noticed it in previous releases. I only see it in Chromium, not Firefox.

I just tried it, 15-3-RELEASE and just picking a video at random and didn't see it. For what its' worth, I've never had this issue on firefox, the waterfox version. I almost never use chrome, just tried to see if this happened to me,but it didn't. Only did about 3 or 4 videos, including We Are The World. Wow, what a collection of talent.

EDIT: pointed out several posts later by mer, I meant 15.1-RELEASE-p3.

I cannot find where chrome intends to support X, as the linuxes they do support have moved to wayland.
They have also recently gone to a shorter release cycle, so it would not surprise me if they also intend to depend on user feedback more for testing.

Chrome is available on Windows (7+), macOS (10.15+), Linux (Ubuntu 18.04+, Debian 10+, Fedora 32+), Android (8.0+), iOS (15+), and ChromeOS. Release timing may vary slightly between platforms, with desktop typically releasing first.
these are all wayland distros and one of the differences between chrome and chromium is....
  • Code may be modified by distributions
  • New release testing depends on the distribution
