All hardware acts up. How does yours?

I once had a pice of customer hardware. When I would switch on the light (neon tubes), the display would be garbled. Totally snowstorm with confetti. Lights out, lights on again - switched to clear display. Toggle lights again, display goes haywire. We made a video of this and pushed that to the ESD department of that customer.

... Noctua coolers...
I like Noctua coolers. I have two dual-processor workstations with these coolers installed (I've never bought a pre-assembled computer. I always build it myself from spare parts—a habit I've had since the 90s).

I used to use Thermalright heatsinks, those are also very good. I think I've had a couple of noctua fans but never used their heatsinks.

And right now my main desktop is a little N100 mini-PC. It's a bit smaller than the P180! 😁

I really need to tidy my desk up...

OK here's something else that goes wrong with 'hardware' in the wider sense. Why is it that there seems to be higher entropy on any desk that has a PC on it or underneath it, and it always seems to end up piled high with papers, books, electronics, soldering iron, multimeter, coffee cups, all the other junk! No matter how hard you try to keep it tidy...

You guys know what I'm talking about... well, mine is not so bad as this... at the moment.. 😂
