Yeah, good stuff ! It will be a breeze now to jump between 15.x RELEASE and 16-CURRENT zfs boot environments.

Unless I'm mistaken, the slides explain really wrong how to upgrade and/or are oversimplified.
If you follow these instructions either it won't work or you will get, soon or late, something unexpected.

Follow rather the installation instructions of the release you want to reach.
And don't modify /usr/local/etc/pkg/repos/FreeBSD-base.conf.
I would have told and told you again.

Videos can often be condensed to half the time by eliminating all the side chatter and startup waiting. And if you miss something or don't grasp an idea, having to rewind to get to the point is a pain.
For me, a video has to be less than 15 minutes to even consider watching it. Just give me written text.

To be fair it is a live stream recording. But the organizers could’ve done a better job editing each session individually without the extra chatter, silence, and music in between talks.

Yes but my comment is about videos in general, like tutorials. I love it when someone says, "All you have to do is write this code..." and they spew out a screenfull which you can't copy/paste to try it out. Or you can't even read it. Or you can't understand what they just said cause it's garbled or their English is heavily accented.

Unless there is no hope, I won't usually even click on video links and try to find another source.
