wpi_cli allows you to dynamically connect to the wpa_supplicant socket and control it dynamically. I.e so you don't need to terminate and restart the wpa_supplicant daemon if you want to change to a different access point.
It also can modify and...
wpa_cli allows you to connect to a password protected wifi network from a cli (command line interface, aka terminal). It's very useful because it outputs a lot of useful information about wpa authentication and you can choose to output a lot of...
I was interested in seeing how this played out (from bug report to release) - the patch just missed PHP 8.4.20, but looks like it is landing in 8.4.21:

I downloaded the RC1 files and in the NEWS file...
When booting Debian, it shows all my partitions.
Apparently some tool call gdisk can identify problems and correct them.
And I've just discovered that it is available on FreeBSD.
It is able to get info from /dev/da0 so I may be able to...
Works just fine. I have made a clumsy attempt to submit the patches to Bugzilla.
I will mark this thread as solved with this summary:
To make Roland UA33 (Tri-Capture) work on 15-RELEASE add the following changes and rebuild/install kernel...
It's a native partition on the same disk and Virtualbox wants r/w on the whole disk? I would try to hide the volume identity so Virtualbox thinks it's a different device.
Qemu would be no problem but it's too slow for serious GUI use.
The look of themed program windows is somewhat boring.
I would consider the porn factor of a linux distribution that can download its source and recompile itself from only readable files like the BSD's. Do they even exist besides LFS?
Why don't they find 10K problems and bugs in 1 week? That not being the case questions the additional value of AI at finding weaknesses in public software, as well as its overall capability since it apparently doesn't work without human process...

I don't think that exists. Government have made pretty clear that anything goes as long as it makes the local AI industry more competitive, so all licensing went out the window before any of the current LLMs were trained.
I don't see a single...
Ok now i understand better where i stucked and just learned something new!!thanks....man.. i really thought i must buy another card (Again) lol..You guys are very helpfull, good thing is that i have some basic knowledge, but without it i would...
Great. Also note that man pages for Envy24 and HT are stale and you should have full recording + digital support.
Do a mixer -f /dev/mixer8 to see all the channels available.
T-Aoki great eye there.
Wait!
Did you ADDED kld_list="snd_envy24ht" AFTER bluetooth_enable="YES" line in your /etc/rc.conf?!
IF SO, NEVER ATTEMPT OR EVEN THINK OF DOING SO!
THE 2ND AND LATER SHALL BE IN FORM LIKE BELOW.
kld_list="${kld_list} snd_envy24ht"
Otherwise...
You are right!! i added it after bluetooth enable xD but i removed it, and after loading envy24ht properly without manually touching rc.conf again, this sudo sysrc kld_list+=snd_envy24ht, it boots normally and my card is visible and playing..i...
Given that there are obviousely a few metalheads among us, one might assume there might also be a couple of fantasy-lovers.
And I have some feeling that this one should be mentioned, if only because there seems to be a boycott by the...
Bun added FreeBSD x86_64 and aarch64 as a cross-compile target today: oven-sh/bun#29676
This closed the long-running (November 2022) issue of FreeBSD support: oven-sh/bun#1524
Hopefully this works for you now?
FreeBSD is stricter when it comes to partition validation by default.
It is not FreeBSD's fault that you painted yourself into a corner where you cannot set a simple variable to change that default.
I've found that I can boot Arch Linux which is installed on partiion 9 and lsblk shows all the available partitions without any problem.
Is this a FreeBSD specific problem?
I am just glad that LLMs have become more apologetic again. There was a phase after initial politeness when you pointed out mistakes where they would just talk back at you.

I recently updated my email server to 15.0. After the final pkg reinstall of everything, I cannot get panda-imapd to work. The log messages file says: Unable to load certificate from /usr/local/certs/imapd.pem. The file is there and has not...
Who gives an AI agent enough control to delete vital data and all backups? At least the backups should be hands-off.
I think we discussed this incident before.
Matthew45 the idea here is that you can catch the output of the driver text or the kernel crash on the primary text console. Perhaps there is something else going on.
Matthew45 boot the machine using the configuration in the files above. When SDDM kicks in, hit ctrl+alt+F1 to go back to primary text console. Login as root and issue "kldload snd_envy24ht". Observe what happens, does the system freeze, does it...
