You can't destroy the partition table if there are partitions present.

That's likely DHCP trying to get an IP address. The fact you actually see activity probably means the issue is somewhere else. Dodgy ethernet cable? Dodgy switch? How about a tcpdump on your DHCP server and see if you can detect the DHCP requests?

Have you tried ms-sys?

I can report that Orange Pi 5 Plus and NanoPi R6C work with FreeBSD 14,15,16. Both boards have HDMI output functioning. They require the EDK2 instead of the normal u-boot. EDK2 UEFI firmware for Rockchip RK3588 platforms

That's a good question. I use the automount and networkmgr for the network tray icon. Last I tried dolphin wasn't working and filesystem specific guis are not ported to work with native filesystems.

It's all garbage anyway. No root account, bs apps instead of programs, enforced background processes and advertisements, all bloated with spy and tracking features as a result. It can't get much worse with obscure chips added.

I find the image search to be useful - it (usually) finds the right images, and also finds text within images. Also copying text from images. Does GPS/maps count as AI in your question? But nothing absolutely compelling, just a few useful...
