It is danger. As grok is being considered a source of the truth, some people are discovering that its algorithm is being clearly manipulated to give certain answers. This will be much worse than: 'it is true because I saw it in TV.

Some of the articles are right-leaning. And by the way, which do you trust: a source that may have biases of its own, or a Wikipedian that knows what's going on, and has less of a bias than most people who scream "Left Bias!!!". And by the way...

what is the ip given to the wg client 172.16.0.something ? if you ping from the wg client to 192.168.1.44 192.168.1.44 should have default route to 1.32 or a static route for 172.16.0.something to 1.32 if his (1.44) gw is 1.1 it wont work if...

So I was not able to get it fully working. As I found, Wireguard is Layer 3 service, and proxy arp does not change anything, as well setting mac for wg interface is also not possible. Finally, I fixed it, by moving the wireguard to the...

Maturin, ok that made me laugh enough to make me cough. Good way to close the evening. Now, as for any AI in the browser, some web searching has said that these are the ones to be sure to change to false in about:config to get rid of AI in...

No. I registered that grok changed his opinion in a so called 'controversial' theme where the truth is / became evident, and it defends stubborn the new opinion when confronted with his contradictions. He was just 'brainwashed'. In other themes...

eternal_noob, you really feel you're censored here? (I see you're in the US). Yes Trump and his little lapdogs do attempt to censor. But so far, they've had only limited success. Hopefully, it will remain limited. So, I guess your fixing of...

I'm going to spam my own page https://srobb.net/cliscanprint.html#FreeBSD I use a Brother printer/scanner, but it should work with HP. Another test, (for printing), assuming your IP for the printer is 192.168.1.50, would be nc 192.168.1.50...

You can flash the image from another OS if you really think that FreeBSD's dd is poisonous. Also, define "bricked".

How's the disk partitioned? You're very likely to run out of disk space. I wouldn't upgrade such an old version, recommend doing a clean reinstall. Entirely different can of worms you can and will run into. We're talking PHP 5.x to PHP 8.3...

Don't use that garbage. Get an externel USB to M.2 enclosure and a 10-pack of small Intel Optane drives (about $5 each). It seems unlikely that dd damaged the drive except by being too fast or something.

Somehow it didn't work for me and I had to reconfigure cups to use an ip address. I don't understand why. The printer's address has been configured to use zeroconf. It doesn't hurt to look at the handbook for mdns/dns-sd configuration.

Another thing you can do is start the Xorg process manually using 'startx' from the login console instead of from sddm, and capture it's output into a file, that you can examine when the X server exits. For example you can say something like :-...

i think you have to set a bkpt on panic. When you connect to the tcp port 1234, you're talking to bhyve, not the target kernel directly so the kernel doesn't really know a debugger has been attached. For that I think you have to connect via a...
