Hi there,
Just created a new jail for 14.3 and trying to build it, receiving error [ERROR] Unhandled error!.
Previous jails had no errors. -v and -vv doesn't seems to produce any additional info... :

Are you familiar with Linux and with scp & rsync tools? If you are, this shouldn't be too hard, and answer will be short. Don't worry if you aren't, answer will be bit longer, but not too hard to follow.
In any case, your best option is to...
As a former Wikipedian, I would say that it instead just has abuse of admin power. There are many there from every side of the political spectrum that are united by bootstomping peons. The high-ranking editors basically own the articles they...

cannot reproduce your problem on my system that uses 14.3 quarterly packages, but can you do a
and have a look into /tmp/foo for more clues, maybe it finds a broken plugin library in your home.
also try executing libreoffice from a different...
I had it happen maybe once a month (Firefox, clear cookies on exit, uBlock, etc), but haven't seen in in a while. When it happened I just switched to DDG for a bit :p (Google usually stops the captcha within a few days or by the time I reinstall...

Similar. It used to happen to me as well, and when it did, it was annoying af. Can't remember exactly when that was nor on which versions, but since I ditched FF for Brave on all OSes I use never had something like that again.
Thank you 🙏 I didn't bother to check myself, but that means that what I posted in #67 is the original (post US-Spanish / Cuban War of Independence wars) Cuba Libre!
Here in Serbia, every price displayed (on the store shelf, in the restaurant menu, everywhere) must include VAT, so you know how much it will cost you to buy.
Only when you get cash register slip (or an invoice, for example, for utilities)...
OK, progress. If I create a /usr/local/lib/virtualbox/qt6.conf with just:
[2:54][fmc000@tu45b-freebsd ~]$ cat /usr/local/lib/virtualbox/qt6.conf
[Paths]
Prefix = /usr/local/lib/qt6/
[2:55][fmc000@tu45b-freebsd ~]$
I get...
That whole thing with high tipping culture is a scam to make the product appear cheaper than it actually is.
Same with listing prices without taxes in the US. Scam to make the product appear cheaper.
What i hate most are those new restaurants with iPad ordering paying with your order, with tip, before you receive your food or even talk to anyone for that matter. I don't play that game. They better hope I have some cash to tip them afterwards.
Ha! Brilliant, thanks🙏! I was already sick and tired on right clicking on Terminal and then looking for damn "Run as admin" option in that menu.
Just tested, sudo winget upgrade -u --all worked as a charm!
Still one dialog box to answer, but...
Windows has sudo; I used it for the first time a little bit ago with a Certbot renewal script and it worked perfectly (I do most stuff unelevated, but certbot insists on admin for some reason even when nginx doesn't :p)
I was just reading about this. One source I can't recall said Wikipedia is a great source for most things but when it comes to politics it tends to be opinionated and left leaning.

I didn't know that. (That anime is constantly edited). As for Wikipedia, although one hears of many inaccuracies, it's still a major source of information for many things. If I were seriously trying to learn about, say, Che, I would probably...
I just tested on a FreeBSD-15.0-ALPHA4 and like Useradd didn't get a request to prove I'm human. Also tried on 14.3-RELEASE-p3, same result, no request to prove I'm human. It might be worth renaming your $HOME/.mozilla to something else, or...
What Che has done, isn't dependent on rbranco winning an argument. He's done what he's done, whether people here know it or not. If I had more interest in it, and not have worries, I'd pick up a book and read about Castro and Che. I don't put...
If it's plugged into usb port, regardless of adapter, from OS perspective this should be an USB mouse.
Try to add ums_load="YES" in /boot/loader.conf, and comment out in /etc/rc.conf #moused_port=/dev/psmo0 (if you have that line), and leave...
I saw it but my laptop has only one GPU so I'm not sure that the proposed solution applies to my problem. Anyways, I'll try tomorrow and report back.
Edit: indeed it doesn't work.
EDIT: Ignore this. Replacing my mouse fixed the issue.
I would assume without but I forgot to mention that this is on a desktop computer and my mouse is the same one I've had for god knows how long. It's not a usb mouse but a PS2 mouse plugged...
EDIT: Ignore this. Replacing the mouse fixed my issue.
Maybe unrelated but I thought I'd mention it. Since updating to 14.3-RELEASE, I've had an issue with the mouse pointer freezing in its position occasionally. I have to unplug and replug in...
My opinions only.
Tipping. I think at least 2 different aspects: one is to reward for good service, the other "mandatory so I make minimum wage".
The first assumes people are being paid a fair wage for the the job, the second assumes "I can do...
IDK if it is related, but you could try with keyrate= settings in rc.conf

some laptops can turn off the mousepad (using a key combination or a press on a specific point of the mousepad). If yours can do it, try to turn off the mousepad. In my experience, it is always the mousepad when the cursor moves.
No. Too busy keeping my eye on the tip jar... XD
That is interesting though. I am actually a little surprised.
Though I do understand that Monaco is a good candidate for a tax haven.
anglaro, If you want a splash screen in the VirtualBox FreeBSD VM, the easiest way is to do a clean install with the extended feature EFI enabled in the VM's settings motherboard tab.
What's the current FreeBSD installations file system? UFS or ZFS?
So apparently the issue with LibreOffice is with QT because I have multi-gpu on my FreeBSD, so the workaround is above...
